  • After a two year break, the Run For Your Life got back in action. We decided to hold it in the Spring this time, and guess what...the weather was perfect! Thanks once again to all who came out to run or walk, to the many volunteers who made the event run so smoothly, especially the tireless Kathy Marty, and to the Washington University PhiDelts, Nick McGowan, Ian English, and Jared Montgomery, whose leadership made the event another terrific success.

  • The Second Annual Run For Your Life in St. Louis was even more fun than the first! Mother Nature seemed to make up her mind in the wee hours of the evening before, and when the clouds parted the sun shone on hundreds of runners, walkers, wheelers, and revelers . The food was terrific, fresh-barbequed burgers, dogs, chicken, and even veggie burgers. The costume contest, a favorite among the crowd, brought out serious creativity in kids and adults. The prize for the best adult costume went to the picnic table, ants included! And the prize for best junior costume went to the cello!

  • The First Annual Run For Your Life was held in St. Louis in 2003 . Despite 24 straight days of warm, sunny weather, Mother Nature chose the 25th of the month to remind us that Summer had, in fact, ended seven weeks earlier . But the drizzle and cool Autumn air couldn't keep over 600 participants away. They came with umbrellas, ponchos, hats, and leggings, and as you'll see in the photos from that day, they had a great time.
